Make earth a little better with every sip on your coffee!
Capsule machines are a convenient and quick way to produce a nice expresso or lungo. Yet, one-time capsules produce a lot of waste, too. That’s why we think it is time to combine coffee pleasure and sustainability by using refillable, stainless steel coffee capsules.

the right coffee grinds
Try to fill the capsule with approx. 1.5 leveled spoons of coffee grinds and press the grinds gently with the bottom of your spoon. If you press it too tight, no coffee will come through the capsule.
the perfect crema
Take a very fine grind of coffee to avoid watery result (for us, table salt grind does not work very well). We prefer to use coffee grinds that specifically create a nice crema (usually they are named like “Café Creme”)
reuse your grinds
You can easily reuse your coffee grinds for various purposes to get the most out of the ressources you use. We would just not recommend trying to make a second coffee – it will taste bitter!
1. natural fertilizer
- mix the grounds of 5 capsules with 1/2 cup of water
- blend the mixture with the soil of your potted plants
2. fridge deodorant
- fill a cloth with the grinds of 5 capsules
- place it on a shelf in your refrigerator to absord odors
3. hand odor neutralizer
- wet your hands after cutting onions or garlic
- rub grounds of 1 capsule in your hands and rinse off with cold water
